Multi-day classes
Multi-day classes are larger topics that need to be split into multiple smaller chunks, but have a definite amount of classes. For example, a five-class course on grammar.
Ongoing classes
Ongoing classes meet weekly. Students are welcome to join at any time without needing to catch up with previous material. They may also withdraw at any time. These courses are paid for by subscriptions. Ongoing classes usually have a general theme that is consistent, so that students can join at any point without having to have taken the previous class. For example, a weekly book club. Ongoing classes have no end date.

Enter your e-mail above, click the button, follow the first steps. (apply button is also available further down this page)
Upon entering the application page, you are first required to input your public information, personal information, your qualifications, and your teaching experience.
For public information, you will need to provide your name, a profile photo, a personal profile, your gender (you can choose neither male nor female if you prefer), and a teaching page headline.
For private information, you are required to provide your name, birthday, e-mail, nationality, location, and time zone.
Under the qualifications section, you must provide your highest level of education, your school’s name, your major, and a picture of the certificate you achieved (certificate, diploma, degree, etc).
You must also input information about your teaching experience and you may upload other relevant information such as your resume or a TESOL certificate (if you have one.)
Clicking on “Save” will redirect you to the home page. This means your edited information is now saved. Clicking on "Submit" will submit your page for review.
If you do submit, you should see "Under Review" when you return to the homepage.
2.) Upload Demo Video
Upload a 5- to 8-minute demo video. The video should be in mp4 format and the maximum file size is 200MB.
Teachers should use any material they feel best shows their expertise and teaching personality. It’s best to teach something you are passionate about.
Be sure to include teaching materials, such as props. Teaching materials and images must be clearly visible in the video.
Your teaching space should be kid-friendly and well-lit.
The demo is only used for the purpose of evaluating your application.
A candidates' demo may be rejected with suggested improvements. In this case, the candidate can re-do the demo and resubmit.
If you outright fail the teaching demo stage, you can reapply after six months.
3.) Background Check
Click “Apply for background check” in the application portal.
The background check is comprised of two parts:
Identity background check
This includes uploading ID documents, such as a passport or driver’s license. After submitting these, you’ll receive an e-mail from a third-party company called Sterling with further instructions on how to proceed.
Educational background check
This is where you submit your relevant degrees and diplomas to prove the level of education you indicated in your application.
Both of these checks are carried out at the same time.
Allschool aims to provide feedback within seven business days of the application date. However, due to the large number of applications they have been receiving, there may be slight delays.
Allschool application process.
Allschool Class Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the class start time.
If the class has not reached the minimum number of learners you set, the class will be closed automatically 12 hours before the class start time.
Our Allschool Review
Allschool is for:
teachers with some experience.
teachers who already have their own material, or can make some easily given their teaching experience.
teachers interested in offering lessons their way - with their own material, schedule, academic approach, etc.
teachers whose availability works well with time zones in the United States.
teachers who enjoy teaching topics other than strictly English.
Things to consider:
Allschool is a more independent platform.
Teachers must offer their own courses with their own material.
There is no pre-made curriculum.
Allschool does not take care of the booking - parents and students choose from teaching profiles they are most drawn to.
Allschool Technical Requirements
Allschool uses two different types of classroom technology to deliver classes. Teachers can choose from Classpod or Zoom.
For Classpod users, Allschool recommends the following:
Windows: Intel Core i5 8 or above, or equivalent AMD processor
MAC: Post 2016 MacBook Pro or iMac (OS 10.10 or higher)
Regular MacBooks and MacBook Airs cannot be used with Classpod
At least 50 mbps upload and download speed.
A wired connection is preferred
Note: The Allschool customer support team is available 24 hours a day should you have any technical issues.
