Teachers must be available to teach during peak hours:
6:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. Beijing Time (weekdays: Mondays to Fridays)
9:00 a.m. – 2:30 a.m. Beijing Time (weekends: Saturdays to Sundays)

Teachers start at an hourly rate of PHP 108 can advance to as high as PHP 200 per hour
Top earners receive up to PHP 80,000 per month
Pay is based on how many lessons you teach and your performance for each lesson.
51Talk Teachers move through a classification system based on experience. The progression is:
Starting Teacher
Newly Qualified Teacher
Junior Teacher
Senior Teacher A
Senior Teacher B
Master Teacher A
Master Teacher B
The higher your level, the the more you can earn.
Teachers can level up by:
increasing their number of successfully conducted lessons,
receiving top scores for teaching performance,
completing training sessions,
and earning certifications.
51Talk Application Process
Fill out the online application form.
The first step involves submitting your name, your email address, your Philippines mobile number, and a password.
You also have to submit your date of birth, gender, and indicate whether or not you have a bachelor’s degree
Next fill out your location and select the amount of teaching experience you have.
Finally, you must choose an interview time at which a 51Talk representative will call you back.
If you pass the interview, you are required to complete a training session.
After the training you must pass the assessments to ensure you have absorbed the knowledge of the training sessions.
51Talk says the application process can be as fast as three days, depending on your availability.
